The P.Villa Studio
I am fresh out of school right now with my B.F.A in photography and have very luckily found a great place to start my studio! A fantastic group of Atlanta artists is coming together to create an art space called Level Seven Studios in East Point. The building is an old warehouse that artists are renovating into their own workspaces. I am fortunate to be one of them and am super excited to help make art an even bigger part of the Atlanta community! I also want to say I am very grateful for my father and my boyfriend Adam for all the help with the construction! It would have been a mess without their help. Thank you, thank you, thank you :)

Visiting My Parents

It's been about 4 years since I moved out of my parents house. Every time I go back to visit, the neighborhood has gone through many changes. They live in a subdivision not too far from the city. When I visit, I like to take my dog Sasha on a walk. Sometimes she will stop her territorial peeing and pulling to let me take a picture! The subdivision shows an interesting combination of super old Decatur hippie houses and the new developed, commercial homes. I like to absorb and capture the combination between the new and the old characteristics of this eclectic and ever-changing subdivision. Shot with a plastic toy Vivitar!

YES
I'm about to get my hands on one of these babies!
Medium format is my favorite way to shoot, and I have been needing to upgrade from the mediocre camera I have now. I found the Mamiya today for an awesome price! Can't wait to get paid on Friday! It also has the capability to attach a digital back (when I can afford one...).
