The Lake Claire Land Trust is a beautiful jewel located within Atlanta. The land is shared between neighbors and sheltered by a homey sense of community between its residents, local gardeners, artists, musicians, and hippies. These photos of my roommates were taken with my Holga toy camera for one of my first medium format projects. I had gone a few times with my friend Sydney who invited me to one of the bi-monthly drum circles. It was the first time my roommates had visited, though, and I wanted them to experience the feeling of self-reflection and comfort I had always felt there. The Land Trust is a peaceful, shady oasis; it is one of my favorite places where I can push the pause button on the fast-growing city of Atlanta.
